Imogene Lovell Mowdy entered Heaven on March 11, 2025, while surrounded by family and close friends. Imogene was born January 21, 1936, in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Earle and Diva Emerson. She was the youngest of seven children, all of whom preceded her in death: K.C., Karl, Earl Jr., Vernon, Marvin, and Rose. When she was 14, Imogene and her parents moved to Coalgate, Oklahoma where her father took a job as the school superintendent. They became active in the United Methodist Church where Imogene was an active member until her death. Imogene was the epitome of God’s faithful servant.
