Funeral services for Bill “Bo Duke” Monroe Estes, a Coalgate resident, will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Lee Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Bill was born May 26, 1961 to Harold Monroe and Margaret Vicie (Jackson) Estes at Atoka, OK and passed away March 2, 2025 at Coalgate at the age of 63 years, 9 months and 4 days. He attended Pauls Valley State School and was a rancher. He attended Lehigh Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman. Bill enjoyed The Dukes of Hazzard, spending time with his family, helping in the garden and working cattle.
Survivors include his brothers, Herman Parker and wife Peggy, and Marvin Estes and wife Lou Eva; sister Mary Maxine Baird and husband Phil; aunts, Lavern West Turner and Reba Eddings; nieces, Rae Linda Fitzpatrick, LaDonna Magby, Gina Jones, Peggy Mae Luck and Marla Estes; nephews, Larry Parker and Justin Estes; along with numerous great nieces and nephews and many dearly loved friends, especially Tender Care Home Health. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Monroe and Margaret Vicie (Jackson) Estes; special friends, Rosie and Henry Matthis; brother-in-law, Ray Magby; and grandparents, James Monroe Estes, Evelyn Estes, Della Jackson and Luther Jackson. Casketbearers will be Larry Parker, Justin Estes, Stoney Parker, Matthew Magby, Brady Magby, and Boggy Jones. Serving as honorary bearers will be Terry Jones, Daniel Burns, Phil Baird, Kanion Jones, Bodee Burkhalter, Jo Ann King and Michael Fitzpatrick.
