She was born June 2, 1953 to Doyle Curtis Nelson and Mary Jo (Schultz) McDonald at Ada, OK. Doylene attended Clarita and Olney Schools, graduating from Olney High School. She attended Murray State College and was a seamstress at Blue Bell/Wrangler and a clerk at Nelson Feed Store. Doylene was a member of the Clarita Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
