Doylene Nelson

Doylene Nelson, a Coalgate resident, passed away December 22, 2020 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 20 days. She was born June 2, 1953 to Doyle Curtis Nelson and Mary Jo (Schultz) McDonald at Ada, OK. Doylene attended Clarita and Olney Schools, graduating from Olney High School. She attended Murray State College and was a seamstress at Blue Bell/Wrangler and a clerk at Nelson Feed Store. Doylene was a member of the Clarita Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter, Misti Roebuck of Atoka, OK; granddaughters, Kayla Moralez of Wapanucka, OK, Iyanna Hopson of Atoka, OK, Alexis Harrison, Aliayah Harrison and Alayna Harrison, all of Wapanucka, OK; grandson, Brandon Roebuck of Coalgate; brothers, Curtis L. Nelson and wife Sheila of Olney, and Ricky Nelson and wife, LeAnn of Clarita, OK.

She was preceded in death by her son, Keith Moralez and parents, Doyle Curtis Nelson and Mary Jo (Schultz) McDonald.
