East Central University is now offering eligible students a new transfer waiver for the Spring 2021 semester. The $750 waiver comes as an added incentive, after ECU decided last fall to freeze its tuition and fees throughout the 2020-2021 academic year.

All of us by now have seen friends and family hit or even now struggling with this deadly virus. Many of us have struggled with friends who never did accept that it was anything serious. “Just the Flu” was said to me several times in the past months. “Covid will go away the day after the election” was said often. Statistics were pulled out of thin air (or was that face-book) to prove their points. I can only imagine how those who suffered a loss of friends or family from this deadly disease feel when confronted by this sort of “friend.”
