Austin Lambert wins Big Buck Contest

Brian Mixon of Mixon Wild Game Processing in Atoka announced today that Austin Lambert of Coalgate is the first place winner of the 2021 Atoka Area Big Buck Contest (adult division). Austin’s buck, which was taken during riffle season, scored an impressive 156 Boone and Crockett score and won Austin a 308 Mossberg rifle topped with a Vortex scope ($1,000 value). Scoring was done by Atoka Game Warden Jay Harvey. The contest was hosted by Mixon Wild Game Processing; the Mossberg rifle and scope sponsored by Daniel Richie, D&S Dirt Work and Small Equipment, Atoka.
