Services held for David Darrell Daffern II

Funeral services for David Darrell Daffern II, a Centrahoma resident, were held Wednesday (today) February 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Centrahoma Baptist Church in Centrahoma, OK with Bro. Lonnie Smith officiating. Burial was in Centrahoma Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Daffern was born January 16, 1973 to David Darrell and Doris June (McAusland) Daffern at Ada, OK and passed away February 12, 2022 at Oklahoma City at the age of 49 years and 27 days.

David graduated from Tupelo High School Class of 1990 and served in the Air Force. He married Rhonda Coonrod on April 9, 2015 and was a welder fabricator. He was of the Baptist faith and loved cooking, playing with his dog “Hoss,” playing video games and doing mechanic work.

Survivors include his son, Braxton Daffern of Sayre, OK; daughter, Mickaylla Anderson, Tupelo, OK; wife, Rhonda Coonrod of Durant, OK; parents, David Darrell and Doris June Daffern of Centrahoma; grandsons, Braydon and Jordan Daffern of Ontario, Canada; sisters, Darlene Daffern and Janey Thomas and husband Dail, all of Centrahoma, OK; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dearly loved friends.

Casketbearers were TJ Sherwood, Christian Sherwood, Roy McAusland, Curtis Daffern, James Daffern and Joe Annadale. Honorary casketbearer was Steven McAusland. Condolences may be sent to the
