Funeral services for Henry Bert Wallace Miller, a Tupelo resident, will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Centrahoma, Oklahoma with Larry Beach officiating. Mary Maxine Raines passes away

Mary Maxine (Jones) Raines, a short time Lehigh, OK resident passed away June 3, 2020 at Atoka at the age of 96 years and 3 days. She was born May 31, 1924 to Melvin Lee and Lois (Moser) Jones at Stella, MO. Mrs. Raines graduated from Stella High School in Stella, MO and married Bertram G. Brown October 3, 1947 at Neosho, MO. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1977. She later married Paul E. Raines on July 1, 1989 at Creighton, MO and he preceded her in death on November 11, 2019. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrisonville, MO. She belonged to a Baptist church since the 1930’s. Mary was a Girl Scout Leader, Cub Scout Leader, GA Leader, was on a bowling league, won two first place ribbons on her quilting, was in a hiking club with her husband and loved to travel a lot. She enjoyed gardening and canning, doing word search puzzles, and she loved her dog and cats. Above all, she enjoyed being with her family and serving her Lord.
