Service Thursday for Henry Miller

Funeral services for Henry Bert Wallace Miller, a Tupelo resident, will be held Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Gospel Lighthouse Church in Centrahoma, Oklahoma with Larry Beach officiating. Burial will be in Centrahoma Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Miller was born February 25, 1934 to Bert and Florence (Fulton) Miller at Tupelo, OK and passed away June 7, 2020 at Tupelo, OK at the age of 86 years, 3 months and 13 days. He was a construction worker on bridges and retired in 1991. Henry married Minnie Ethel Johnston on April 4, 1964 at Durant, OK. She preceded him in death on June 22, 2015. Henry was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Centrahoma.

Survivors include his children, Peggy and the late Terry Young, Bobby Miller and wife Jolynn and Bert Miller and wife Jennifer, all of Tupelo; grandchildren, Jeremy Young and wife Dana of Ada, Timmy Young and wife Cheryl of Lehigh, Lori Roundtree and husband Chris, Dean Miller, all of Stonewall, Amy Deaton and husband Roy of Ada, Lacey Slayton and husband Anatasios of Ft. Worth, TX, Taylor Miller, Keira Miller and Everly Miller, all of Tupelo; great-grandchildren, Shelbi Young Brooklyn Roundtree, Brittany Roundtree, Preslee Young, Colten Walker, Carson Deaton, Dax Young, and Kinlee Deaton; sisters, Nellie Hunter and Elizabeth Harkins, both of Tupelo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Billy James Miller; brothers, William Miller, Elmer Miller, Jimmy Miller, Joe Dewey Miller and Cecil Ray Miller and sister, Ruby Kerr.

Casketbearers will be Jeremy Young, Timmy Young, Dean Miller, Taylor Miller, John Schutte and James Hunter.
