Funeral services for John Ross Wood, a Coalgate resident, will be held Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Methodist Church with Pastor Lyle Shipley officiating. Burial will be in Wood Family Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Family night will be Wednesday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

As a senior she hit .504 with four home runs while having a 2.10 ERA in the circle.

It was an interesting place to absorb an education, but while we were taught well, school could be sometimes dangerous. It’s fun to remember.
