Quran-teening at home with the Holt boys

AUTO MECHANIC IN TRAINING — Isaiah Holt has a new hobby these days— helping “Papo” Ronnie Ennis work on his truck. Mom Mary Holt has been working at home during the COVID-19 shutdown, but we could not talk her into submitting a picture of herself. She finally admitted that she has not done her hair since March 20 and her work-at-home wardrobe has consisted of an old t-shirt and stretch pants. (Seems to be the norm these days for a lot of us, doesn’t it?)

Service held for Martha Weakley

Martha Lee (Swindell) Weakley, a Coalgate resident, passed away April 22, 2020 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 87 years, 6 months and 24 days. She was born September 29, 1932 to Luther and Matilda (Hill) Swindell at Coalgate, OK. Martha attended Farris, OK school and was a homemaker. She enjoyed going to church, making roses, cooking for her family and others. Martha’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.

I appreciate the job Gov. Stitt is doing in many areas. I am also thankful that we do not have a Governor like Ralph Northam of Virginia. Northam has determined that churches should be closed but abortion clinics open during this time. The governor and Planned Parenthood classified that killing children is an “essential” medical service.
