Our Sympathies extended to the families of... Matthew Chase Ermis

It is with a heavy heart that we convey that our beloved Matthew Chase Ermis, a Lehigh resident, went to be with the Lord on October 3, 2020. A Memorial Service will be held at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate at a date to be announced.

Matthew was born October 28, 1998 to Kevin Mark Ermis and Stephanie Ann Bee at Dallas, TX and passed away October 3, 2020 at Lehigh, OK at the age of 21 years, 11 months and 5 days.

He attended Coalgate Schools before attending Atoka High School where he graduated in 2017. Matthew was a football player while attending Coalgate schools and he then played soccer while attending Atoka High School. He lived in Flower Mound until moving to Lehigh at the age of eight. He was a smart yet funny young man and had a very kind soul and heart. Matthew worked at Allen Lumber in Atoka as a yard hand.

He is survived by his father, Kevin Ermis of the home in Lehigh; mother, Stephanie Bee of Lehigh; sisters, Bea Ermis of Tulsa, OK and Keira Ermis of Lehigh; also grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in Matthew Ermis’ name.
