Funeral services for Janie Cheryl Lee were held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Atoka Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeremy Parham officiating. Burial was in Green Meadow Cemetery in Atoka with Atoka Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Janie was born April 20, 1952 in Stringtown, OK to Johnnnie Lee and Shirley Marien (Moran) Lee and passed away January 18, 2021 in Coalgate, OK at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 28 days. She was a seamstress at Wranglers Corporation (Blue Bell) in Coalgate. Janie was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church in Cottonwood, OK.

Survivors include her brother, Ronnie Lee of Fairfield, TX; sisters, Sharon Walton and husband, Johnny of Atoka, Barbara Ward and husband Mickey of Fairfield, OK and Margaret Uber and husband, Bruce of Durant, OK; also several nieces, nephews, and a host of dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Johnnie and Shirley Lee; brother, Michael Dean Lee; sister, Patricia Danheim; great-nephew, Kaleb Cooksey; brother-in-law Stephen Danheim; paternal grandparents, Wilburn and Lena Lee; maternal grandparents, Luke and Myrtle Burleson and special friend, Jim Wilson.
