Wanda Elizabeth Nobles

A graveside service for Wanda Elizabeth Nobles, an Ashland resident, was held Friday, January 29, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery with Rev. J. T. Carnell officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service in McAlester, OK.

Mrs. Nobles was born November 14, 1941 to Lester and Lucille (Saffell) Champion in McAlester, OK and passed away January 26, 2021 in Oklahoma City at the age of 79 years 2 months and 12 days. She grad-uated from high school in Ashland, OK and married Jack Nobles on March 13, 1963 in McAlester. They settled in the Ashland and Coalgate area where Wanda was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, ceramics, arts and crafts. She had attended the Coalgate First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Nobles of the home; daughter, Jackie Paden and husband, David; son, David Nobles; grandchildren, Chloe Paden and Zachary Paden, all of Ashland; brother-in-law, Clarence Nobles of Hartshorne and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Lucille Champion.
