Alice Ann Darling

for Graveside services Alice Ann (LeFlore) Darling, a Coalgate resident, were held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Cairo Cemetery in Cairo with Reverend Ken Brown officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements. Ms. Darling was born April 30, 1943 to Frankie and Bettye (Dickson) LeFlore at Cloudy, OK and passed away September 20, 2022 at Coalgate, OK at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 21 days. She attended Cloudy schools and graduated from Rattan High School. Alice married Johnny Clay Darling and he preceded her in death. She was a Seamstress at Blue Bell and enjoyed working puzzle books and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son, Ricky Darling and wife Lorie of Cario, OK; daughter, Cathy Norfleet and husband Ray of Centrahoma, OK; grandchildren, L. C. Darling and wife Jaclyn of Cottonwood, Robert Darling of Cairo, Samantha Darling of Wilmington, NC, Hanna Fortner and husband Zac of Tupelo, OK, Sara Darling of Wilmington, NC and Ethan Norfleet of Centrahoma; great-grandchildren, Zula Darling and Wesson Fortner; sisters, Karolyn Hurlburt and husband Eddie of Cloudy, OK, Margie Ouellette of Savanna, OK and Linda Brines of Antlers, OK; sisters-in-law, Betty LeFlore of Texas and Janet LeFlore of Cloudy, OK.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Clay Darling; parents, Frankie and Bettye (Dickson) LeFlore; great-grandson Laron Clay Darling; brothers, Robert LeFlore, Roy Gene LeFlore, Wayne LeFlore, Larry LeFlore; sister, Louise Green; sister-inlaw, Roma LeFlore.

Casketbearers were Danny LeFlore, Kevin Hurlburt, L. C. Darling, Keith Ouellette, Mandy Childers, and Ethan Norfleet. Honorary bearers were Rodney Hurlburt, Edward Hurlburt, Matthew Green, Tim Green, and Michael Green.
