E. E. EMERSON THIRD GRADE ACADEMIC TEAM. Meet the members of E. E. Emerson’s youngest academic team. These students are actively participating in the GT program that the elementary school offers. They participated in an academic meet on February 13 in Homer. They played in a fourth-grade league, but Emerson’s team is comprised primarily of third graders. Sadly, they lost both games that day, but they are gaining valuable experience and becoming familiar with the rules and etiquette of the competitions. Colorado men face drug charges Two Colorado men traveling through Coalgate on February 29 are facing criminal charges after drugs were found in their vehicle during a traffic stop on W. Queen Ave. One of the men is also charged with bringing contraband into the jail.

Can I catch the Coronavirus? Why not? Seems like the Pope has it. Well, his staff members claim the Pope only has a cold, but he is into his second week of cancelling events. Looks suspicious to me. And the Ayatollah’s top aid just died of it. Since I note this virus is zeroing in on those of the “cloth” it has made me more concerned for our own local pastors here around Allen.
