Thanks to a grant from the Delta Kappa Gamma Educational Foundation, Tupelo Elementary fifth grade students of Jill Brown have gained firsthand knowledge of Chickasaw culture and also enhanced their etiquette skills.

In the district game 2

In the district game 2, freshman pitcher, Zane Wilkerson, took the win on the mound for Tupelo, 20-1, pitching 3 innings and throwing 5 strikeouts. Offensively, Zane had 2 hits and 3 RBIs. Junior, Cody Airington, backed him up at shortstop.

These two ladies

These two ladies, happily holding the district plaque, helped the Tupelo Lady Tigers to a 18-4 win over Coleman in the district finals. Carli Cox hit two homeruns in that game and Kylee Watson hit one, a grand slam. They were not the only power hitters in the tournament: Ava Sliger also hit a home run and Maci Gaylor grand-slammed in the Coleman game. Raylee Jones had a grand slam in the first game against Stringtown.
