Jim Ray Bayles, 54, Coalgate, and Henary Lee Bayles, 30, Atoka, were arrested the evening of July 23 on drug and firearm charges after Choctaw Tribal Officer Kasey Shields conducted a traffic stop on their vehicle for a shattered windshield and nonworking brake light.

Sherry Ann Lemons passes away

Sherry Ann Lemons, a Centrahoma resident, passed away July 19, 2022, at her home in Centrahoma, OK at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 10 days. She was born February 9, 1950, to Alford Henley and Joyce Marie (Flatt) Lemons at Coalgate, OK. She attended Tupelo High School and was a seamstress at Blue Bell and Diaper Jeans. Sherry enjoyed sewing, playing on the iPad and talking on the phone.
