YOUNG HUNTER BAGS HIS FIRST TURKEY

7-year-old Brennon Morgan was one of the young Coal County hunters that hit the woods on Saturday, April 13, for the first day of youth turkey hunting season. Brennon took home a bird with a 5” beard — not bad for a young boy on his first hunt! He is the son of Chancy and Cheyenne Lovinggood; his hunting escorts were his dad and his buddy, John Plunkett.

A great lament goes up among the children when they discover someone else has gone before them into the water chamber.
