Read moreTupelo woman charged with assault and battery on Coal County jailer On September 27 at approximately 7:15 p.m., Officer Corey McCollum saw a woman standing outside her car in front of Tupelo City Hall holding her car keys. Officer McCollum approached the woman, Tanya Kilgore, 43, and started talking to her. Kilgore began telling the officer about possible stolen property and was yelling and screaming profanities. McCollum said he tried to calm Kilgore down because she was causing a disturbance. She was showing signs of impairment, he said, including dilation of the pupils, body and eyelid tremors, was very irritable, talkative and restless, and was moving her bottom jaw in a distinct backand-forth up and down motion.

An error scored one run for Atoka. Nevaeh Parker was in the circle for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. The ace went four innings, allowing one run on two hits, striking out two and walking one. Coalgate Wildcats Varsity racked up 12 hits on the day. Macy Delozier, Kaylie Trevathan, Braedy Wardrope, and Jordana Fuller each racked up multiple hits for Coalgate Wildcats Varsity. Delozier led Coalgate Wildcats Varsity with three hits in three at bats. #14 went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead Atoka in hits.
