Larry Allan Brewer

A memorial service was held Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate for Coalgate resident, Larry Allan Brewer with Josh Rogers officiating. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brewer was born August 31, 1955 to James Ray Sr. and Lillian Loral (Peterson) Brewer at Frankfort, Indiana and passed away December 11, 2023 at Coalgate at the age of 68 years, 3 months and 11 days. He attended West Fargo Public Schools in West Fargo, ND and later attended Wahpeton Technical School. Larry served in the United States Army and married Karla June Rogers on June 7, 1986. They enjoyed 37 years together. He was a retired delivery driver for the West Fargo School District in North Dakota. Larry was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music, playing Yahtzee and spending time in his garage. He liked to socialize with his friends.

Survivors include his wife, Karla June Brewer of the home in Pine, OK; children, Joshua Rogers of Omaha, NE, Jessica Lesko and husband Matt of San Diego,CA and Jonathon Hanson of Fargo, ND; grandchildren, Abigale Kuehn, Charlie Rogers and Monte Rogers; brother, James Brewer Jr. and wife Pam of West Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Darla Brewer of Seattle, WA; nephews, Dallas and Jameson Brewer; niece, Sophia Brewer. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Ray Sr. and Lillian Loral (Peterson) Brewer; and brother, Jerald Brewer.
