Troy Eugene Cannon

Services for Troy Eugene Cannon of Ada, OK, formerly of Coalgate, were held Friday, May 12, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Southwest Church of Christ in Ada with Floyd Kaiser and David Dirrim officiating. Burial was in Rosedale Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Criswell Funeral Service of Ada.

Mr. Cannon was born January 24 1942 in Roff, OK to Troy C. and Myrtle Younts Cannon and passed away May 8, 2023 in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 14 days.

He is survived by his son, Ernie Cannon of Ada; daughter, Laura Merrell and husband Steven of Lindsay, OK; six grandchildren, Kylar Merrell, Trace Merrell, Kaden Merrell, Tori Merrell, Shawn Cannon and Lexis Cannon; and one greatgranddaughter Averie Compton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Verna Mae Cannon; and son, Troy Dean Cannon.
