Tina Mae Maggia
Funeral services for Tina Mae Maggia, a Coalgate resident, were held Monday February 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Lyle Shipley officiating. Burial was in Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Maggia was born December 16, 1942 to William Henry and Eunice (Jones) Collins at Winthrop, AR and passed away February 1, 2023 at Coalgate at the age of 80 years, 1 month and 16 days. She graduated high school in Winthrop, AR and was a home health nurse and a hair dresser for many years. Tina married John Nick Maggia September 1, 1959 at DeQueen, AR. They spent 63 years together. Tina liked sewing, and watching Gunsmoke. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband John Nick Maggia of the home in Coalgate; son Barry Maggia and wife Diania of Coalgate; daughters, Terry Butler and husband Jerry of DeQueen, AR and Shauna

Blaylock and husband Ken of Durant, OK; grandchildren, Andrea Duncan and husband James of Coalgate, Jonathan Oglesby and wife Jaycee of Texarkana, AR, Brandon Maggia and wife Summer of Calvin, OK, Dustin Oglesby of DeQueen, AR, and Kolten Blaylock of Durant, OK; greatg randchildren, Hazel Oglesby of Texarkana, AR, Chipper Maggia of Calvin, OK, Brystol Butler, Ridge and Rayce Duncan all of Coalgate; brothers, Lonnie Collins and wife Pat of Scammon, KS and Joe Collins of Foreman, AR; along with nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Eunice (Jones) Collins and siblings, Don Collins, Betty Baker and Leroy Collins.
Casketbearers were Jonathan Oglesby, Brandon Maggia, Kolten Blaylock, Ridge Duncan, James Duncan, Rick Heinze, and Wade Oglesby.
