Mark Roland Counterman

A visitation was held Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Brown’s Funeral Service for Mark Roland Counterman. A Coalgate resident, Mark was born May 4, 1969 to Walter Roland and Donna Lee (Mowdy) Counterman at Easton, PA. He passed away February 3, 2023 at Coalgate at the age of 53 years, 8 months and 30 days. Mark graduated from Tupelo High School and was a plumber, housing contractor and mechanic. He married Kimberly Gail (Lane) Counterman and shared many years together until her passing in 2013. Mark was of the Baptist Faith. He liked Harley Davidson bikes, loved music and playing guitars.

Survivors include his daughter, Chastina Blevins and husband Troy Blevins, Jr. of Olney; grandchildren, Kira, Kaden and Kasen Blevins; parents, Walter Roland and Donna Lee (Mowdy) Counterman of Oklahoma City, OK; brother, James Counterman of Oklahoma City, OK; niece, Courtney Moore and husband Frankie of Washington; nephew, Darren Counterman of Ada, OK.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kimberly Gail Lane and sister-in-law Sarah Counterman.
