Sharon Lindsey Herion

Funeral services for Sharon Eunice (Lindsay) Herion, a Lehigh resident, will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Sister Melissa Williams officiating. Burial will be in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Family night will be Friday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. (Lunch will be served at the Apostolic Jesus Name Church following the service.)

Mrs. Herion was born June 11, 1950 to Garnet Wallace and Dorothy Marie (Reilly) Lindsay at Belleville, Ontario and passed away peacefully at her home on March 11, 2025 at the age of 74 years and 9 months. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, TX. Sharon was a substitute school teacher. She married Bruce Franklin Herion in Arlington, TX. Together they had a beautiful home and she was a loving Pastor’s wife at the Apostolic Jesus Name Church in Coalgate. Sharon loved everyone she met and in turn was loved by everyone. She was an avid professional seamstress. Sharon loved tending to her rose bushes. She loved her dog, Precious Renee. Her favorite times were spent with her children and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Bruce Franklin Herion of the home in Lehigh, OK; children, Shawn Monceaux of Corsicana, TX, Alex Monceaux and wife Rebecca of Bridge City, TX and Ariana Cerda of Texas; grandsons, Bellamy and Lamar, Guillermo Alberto Herrera III; siblings, Wayne Lindsay and Karon Lindsey both of St. Louis, Missouri; along with other family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Garnet Wallace and Dorothy Marie (Reilly) Lindsay.

Casketbearers will be Alfred Horn, Christopher Herion, Rev. Danny Maples, A.J. Horn, Ricky Nix and Brad Herion.
