Larry G. Smith

Larry G. Smith, an Ada resident, passed away October 2, 2021 at Ada, OK at the age of 36 years, 8 months and 8 days. He was born January 24, 1985 to Jimmy Dale Jr. and Melissa Ellen (Preheim) Smith at Dinuba, CA and attended school in California. Larry was a mechanic and a carpenter. He married Ashleigh Erskin September 26, 2007 in Fresno, CA. Larry was a Christian and enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved spending time with his children.

Survivors include his wife, Ashleigh Erskin of Tupelo; sons, Jeramyah Smith and Malakhy Smith; daughter, Kaycee Smith; parents, Jimmy Dale Jr. and Melissa Ellen (Preheim) Smith; sisters, Stacy Smith, Tarlisa Baldwin and husband Jeffery, all of Tupelo; and Stacy Peddy of Clovis, CA; along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear and loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Amanda Smith and cousin, James Baldwin.

Visitation will be October 9, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate, OK.
