Kenneth Duane Cannon Passes Away

Kenneth Duane Cannon, a longtime Atoka resident, passed away December 14, 2019 at Atoka at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 13 days. He was born June 1, 1952 to Kenneth and Ruby (Parkhill) Cannon at Sayder, TX. Kenneth graduated high school and married Sharon Clostine Hadley April 20, 1991 at Decater, TX. They had 27 years together before her passing on August 10, 2018. Kenneth proudly served his country in the Army. He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. Kenneth enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his daughters, Rachel Crum of Ardmore and Stacie Loraine Cannon of Altus, OK; brothers, Omar Davis Cannon and wife Kathy of Tushka and Jerry Lee Cannon of Coalgate; sisters, Elaine Faye McCarty of Stringtown, OK and Julie Loraine Maxey of Tushka; grandsons, Joshua Crum and wife, Aleah of Lehigh, OK and Steven Crum of Atoka; granddaughters, Kayla Crum and Jessica Crum, both of Ardmore; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and great-grandson, Lucas Crum.
