Annie Bell Carrell

Funeral services for Annie Bell Carrell, a resident of El Reno, OK, will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Tupelo Baptist Church in Tupelo, OK with Pastor Craig Cochran officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Tupelo. Atoka Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Annie was born March 14, 1946 to Ralph Sanford and Annie Bell Compton in Firebaugh, CA and passed away March 5, 2021 in Shawnee, OK at the age of 74 years, 11 months and 21 days. She married the love of her life, Ronald Austin Carrell in Texas on October 29, 1966. He preceded her in death November 1, 2018. Annie was a homemaker in her own home and also a member of the Tupelo Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Steven Carrell and wife, Kimberly of Centrahoma, OK; daughters, Vicki Gilmore and husband, Jeff of Lampe, MO, Bobbie Jo Grigg and husband, Charles of Tupelo, OK and Odesa Smith and husband, Billy of El Reno, OK; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents,

Ralph Sanford Compton and Annie Bell (Owens) Compton; daughter, Anna Marie Carrell; husband, Ronald Carrell; and sixteen brothers and sisters.

Active pallbearers will be Wesley Smith, Steven Carrell, Eric Carrell, Jakota Carrell, Andrew Grigg, and Kirk Henson. Honorary bearers will be Roy Smith, Kenny Carrell and Duane Compton.
