Twyla Gaile Lawrence passed away March 9, 2023. She was born September 16, 1935 to Hulet Thomas Rice, Sr. and Rebecca Ruth (Hall) Rice. Gaile was the baby of 9 children. She married Perry Joe Hefley in June 1956. Their daughter Cathy was born in 1958. Gaile then married Clayton”Buddy” Lawrence in December 1977. He passed away 5 years later.

Teresa passed away on March 5, 2023 in Orange, TX. At the age of 86 years, 4 months and 4 days. Her services will be Monday, March13, 2023 at at 11:00 am at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate, OK. with Brother Eddie Hogue officiating. Burial will be in Moore Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. She attended Olney schools and graduated from Coalgate High School in the Class of 1954. She then attended Cosmetology School. Teresa also was an Insurance Agent Teresa was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. She belonged to the Eagles, Eastern Star, President’s Club (Insurance), CMA/CAN, Social Services and Jokers Wild Card group. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, sewing, bowling, dancing, playing dominoes, fishing and traveling.
