Ruger Delrae Tucker

Funeral services for Ruger Delrae Tucker, a Coalgate resident, was held Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Coalgate Linton Gymnasium with Bro. Jim Lewis officiating, assisted by Bro. Joey Lansdale and Bro. Brock Woolf. Burial was in McCarty Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Family night was Tuesday 6-8PM at Coalgate First Baptist Church.

Ruger was born on June 20, 2008, to Dustin Delrae and Shelly Dawn (Farris) Tucker, at Ada, Oklahoma. He passed away on July 7, 2023 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 15 years and 17 days. Ruger attended Coalgate Public Schools. He had a summer job trimming trees and mowing lawns with Jack Slaton. Ruger was a faithful member of the Coalgate First Baptist Church and youth group, E-Sports, FCCLA, Golf Team and Cross Country. He liked hunting, fishing (especially on Boggy), hanging out with his friends, listening to loud music and being outdoors. Ruger enjoyed old trucks, 70s music and Post Malone. He loved going to church and being part of the youth group.

Survivors include his mother, Shelly Dawn (Farris) Tucker; grandparents, Sherry Farris and DonnieThompson, BethAnn Shirley, Nancy Shirley, Jo and Bobby Tucker; sisters: Tamra Miller and J.P. Potter, Tagen Miller and Timmy Yarbrough; brothers, Zeb Tucker, Pierce Farris and Jayda Reed; aunts and uncles, Kandace Madden, Beth and Kenna Amason, “D” Daniel Stingley, Sandra and Brad Bishop, Jaclyn and L.C. Darling, Christopher Tucker, Willie Tucker, Jack and Tammy Shirley, Ella Mae and David Ward, Cathy and Keith Amason; closest friends and family, his little favorite person Kutter Potter Carter, Tracyn and Traslie Wilson, Rocksie Farris, Ayden and River Allen, Jade and Josey Pate, Arlis and Bryson Stowe, Kaleb Wylie, Gracie Couch, Kamdyn Douglas, Riley and T.W. Tucker, Meredith Brown, Jack, Dylan, Annie, Charles and Katie Lott, Blakely Amason and Roy Conner Max Harmon, Ben and Luke Thomas; three favorite teachers, Miss Gardner, Mrs. Barnes and Mrs. Girten; many more friends and family, this list could go on forever. He was preceded in death by his father, Dusty Tucker; grandparents, Larry Farris and A.J. Shirley, Robert “Pappy” Tucker and Dannel Lou “Mammy” Tucker; great aunt, Cairlyon Tucker; uncles, Heath “Boog” Farris and Little Bobby Tucker.

Casketbearers were Carter Wilson, Dylan Acosta, Jack Slaton, Jack Lott, Mikey Miller, Denim Brown, Blayzen Ward, Soloman Wilson, KodyArgo,Axel McNutt and Daniel Stingley.

Serving as honorary casketbearers were Zeb Tucker, Tracyn Wilson, Michael Shayne Miller, BrandonAcosta, River andAydenAllen,KamdynDouglas,PaytonHilfer,JettandJase Burris, Cody Coats, Bredyn and Ryfle Gold, Arlis and Bryson Stowe, FBC Youth Group, Gavin Molina and Ernie Smith Jr.
