Read moreGinaDeckcelebrated 40 years of service with Coal County General Hospital on January 24, 2023. She started in the lab as a Laboratory Technician and cross trained to work in Radiology and performed both functions for several years. In 1994, Gina successfully wrote a grant for the hospital to acquire ultrasound equipment and also pay for training. She was promoted to Laboratory and RadiologySupervisor in February of 1997 and continued with her ultrasound education and training. The hospital also acquired a CT machine and Gina was trained to perform those procedures as well. The Laboratory and Radiology services eventually split into two separate departments on February 25, 2011 and Gina became the Radiology Supervisor over X-Ray, CT, and Ultrasound where she continues to excel to this day.
