Read moreA traffic stop for a minor offense led to the arrest of Casey Harold Anson on May 1st, 2023. Deputy Kimmel with the Coal County Sheriff’s Office pulled over Anson’s Chevy pickup truck for not having tag lights. Upon making contact with Anson, the officer asked for his driver’s license and inquired about any weapons in the vehicle. Anson revealed he had a handgun in the back seat, which he handed over to the officer. The handgun was later found to be stolen.
