Medals and awards were presented to 4-H members who had submitted record books and special awards for 4-H participation. Along with medals and awards, scholarships totaling $3,000 were awarded to 4-H members in Coal County. Guest speaker for the program was Keona Mason, the SE District Representative on the state council, State 4-H Ambassador and the Johnston County 4-H President.
