Funeral services for Zelda Juanita (Walker) Ridley, a Coalgate resident, were held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Church of Christ with Pastor Wendell Ingram officiating. Burial was in Moore Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Ridley was born March 3, 1922 to Moffett Cleveland and Ada Pearl (Crane) Walker at Tecumseh, OK and passed away March 22, 2024 at Coalgate at the age of 102 years and 19 days. She graduated from Clarita High School with the Class of ‘38 and married Raymond Ralph Ridley December 18, 1940 at Coalgate. They enjoyed many years together before his passing. Mrs. Ridley began nursing at the Byrd Clinic under Dr. Wallace Byrd and then Dr. R. J. Helton. She was a member of the Coalgate Church of Christ and enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Survivors include her daughters, Janice Griffin of Coalgate, JoAnn Warren and husband Wayne of Simms, TX and Jahree Wilson and husband Bill of Coalgate; grandchildren, Troy Griffin, Kevin Warren, Todd Wilson, Joel Wilson, Kim Lemons and Jana Wheeler; seventeen great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-greatgrandchildren; along with many other relatives and dearly loved friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Moffett and Ada Walker; husband, Ralph Ridley; son-in-law, Tom Griffin; grandson, Tommy Griffin; great-grandson, Rowdy Griffin; great-great-grandson, Riley James Warren.

Casketbearers were Kevin Warren, Todd Wilson, Joel Wilson, Jared Griffin, Tyler Griffin, and Troy Griffin. Honorary bearers were Gavin Wilson, Garrett Wilson, Josh Warren, Daniel Warren, Cary Griffin, and Dustin Griffin.
