Cottonwood Superintendent, John Daniel, presented books to the Coal County General Hospital, Coal County Health Department, Helton Rural Health Clinic, and Family Health Center of Southern Oklahoma. The books, I WANT TO BE A DOCTOR, PEPPA LOVES DOCTORS AND NURSES, AND THE BERENSTAIN BEARS: HOSPITAL FRIENDS are to be given to children when they visit trained health providers at one of these facilities.
Employees and teams from home health, hospice and Medicaid ADvantage agencies across the state of Oklahoma were honored today at A Path of Care’s annual “Light the Path” 2024 Awards ceremony held in Shawnee. Awards were presented to employees and agencies for their superior service and accomplishments made in 2023.

THE EYE OF THE STORM Sunday morning at our house is a little like Dante’s Inferno. A great lament goes up among the children when they discover someone else has gone before them into the water chamber. In a few moments I will hear the hum of hair dryers and the shouts of, “Has anybody seen my brush?” I will hear a squeal of discovery, and then the one using the hair dryer will say, “I couldn’t find mine. Why can’t I use it? Come on, give it back!”
