Ruthell “Ruth” (Swindell) Gibbins, a Coalgate resident, passed away March 1, 2024 at Ada, OK at the age of 84 years, 6 months and 26 days. She was born August 4, 1939 to Luther Cecil and Matilda “Tillie” (Hill) Swindell at Idabel, OK. Mrs. Gibbins attended school at Farris, OK and was a homemaker. She married Cecil Ray Gibbins July 17, 1956 at Atoka, OK. Ruthell was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Church in Coalgate. She owned and operated the Chuck Wagon Cafe. Ruth was known for her chocolate and coconut pies.
