People helping people in time of need

Tupelo Fire Chief Rick Ellis helps load pallets of water donated by the Chickasaw Nation of Oklahoma. The water was delivered to the Tupelo Fire Department, Centrahoma Fire Department, and Olney/Clarita Fire Departments. Any Centrahoma water district residents who need bottled water may call Ellis at (580) 421-5222 or Don Hill at (580) 310-4221. “We will meet up with you and get you taken care of,” Ellis posted on Tuesday. A Tupelo woman is facing a felony charge for abuse/exploitation/neglect of a vulnerable adult by allowing a minor child that was physically abusing to her husband to live in their home and for failing to have proper medical care rendered to him when he received injuries.
