CITY OF COALGATE MAKING PLANS FOR 4 TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOW

CITY OF COALGATE MAKING PLANS FOR 4 TH OF JULY FIREWORKS SHOW — RW Lambert Trucking, Southside Liquor and Ronny and Tammy Lambert recently donated $1,100 for Coalgate’s 2021 4 th of July fireworks show. With the price of fireworks increasing every year, the Coalgate City Council voted in April to allow the city to spend $10,000 for the 2021 fireworks show – an increase of $3,000 over 2020. Coalgate’s impressive fireworks show, which attracts a large number of people not only from Coalgate but also from surrounding areas, is made possible by community donations. Last year, the council approved $7,000, but the community pitched in $6,900, leaving the city having to pay only about $100.
