Drenda Leaniece Stark, an Atoka resident, passed away December 23, 2022 at Durant, OK at the age of 63 years, 10 months and 26 days. She was born January 27, 1959 to James and Molly (Griffin) Smith at Ft. Worth, TX. Drenda attended Tushka High School and later went on to Southeastern Oklahoma State University receiving a Master’s Degree in early childhood education. She was a school teacher at Coalgate Public Schools. Drenda married Louis Edward Stark December 14, 1979 at First Baptist Church of Atoka. They celebrated 44 wonderful years of marriage. Drenda loved spending time with her family.
