Our Sympathy Extended to the Family of Ronald William Burris

Ronald William Burris, 63, of Adrian, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at his home. A private graveside service was held January 9 at Crescent Hill Cemetery in Adrian.

Ronald William Burris, or more affectionately known as “Tenny Shoes,” was born January 22, 1960, to Wilfred Elvin Burris and Alpha Marie (Lacy) Courson in Butler, Missouri. He ended up in Oklahoma and attended Coalgate High School. He also attended Missouri Tech in Kansas City, Missouri, where he studied electronics.

Ronald primarily worked on pipelines, which led him to travel to quite a few locations. When he retired, he moved back to Adrian to live on the family farm. This gave him time to work on his passion of Chevrolets. He also dearly loved his dogs, Charlie and Samantha.

Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Wilfred Burris.

He is survived by his mother, Alpha Marie Courson; siblings Rick Burris, Diane Henderson, Randy Burris, Cheri Ward, Kevin Burris, Joe Courson and Tammi Bennett; and numerous nephews and nieces.
