Service Thursday for Gerald Carl Guinn

Graveside services for Gerald Carl Guinn, a Tulsa resident, will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Cemetery in Pine, OK with Bro. Wendell Ingram officiating. Family night will be Wednesday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements., Mr. Guinn was born March 15, 1941 to Homer William and Myrtie Martha Melinda (Eddings) Guinn at Parker, OK and passed away September 2, 2023 at Tulsa at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 18 days. He graduated from Ashland High School Class of 1959 and married Janet Ruth Fairless October 10, 1958 at McAlester, OK. They enjoyed 64 years together. Gerald was a purchasing agent for DuPont. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and being outdoors.

Survivors include his wife Janet Ruth (Fairless) Guinn of the home in Tulsa; children, Kelly (Guinn) Olson and husband Rick of Tulsa; grandchildren, Cody Olson and wife Katie of Tulsa and Casey Olson and wife LeeAnne of Burkbank, CA; sisters, Addie Pollock and husband Bill of Muskogee, OK and Ozella Guinn of Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer William and Myrtie Martha Melinda (Eddings) Guinn; brothers H. J. Guinn, Elmer Guinn, Thurman Guinn and Wayne Guinn; sisters, Thelma Guinn, Lucille Tipton and Tommie Rogers.

Casketbearers will be Cody Olson, Casey Olson, Gary Guinn, Phillip Guinn, Rick Guinn and Dean Pollock.
