Audie Don Thompson

Funeral services for Audie Don Thompson, a Stringtown resident, will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Atoka with Rick Isom officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Atoka.

Mr. Thompson was born January 24, 1964 to Audie and Fern (Erwin) Thompson at Atoka, OK and passed away June 16, 2023 at Oklahoma City at the age of 59 years, 4 month and 23 days. He graduated from Stringtown High School and married Jana Erwin July 6, 2001 in Sherman, TX. Audie was a Transit Maintenance Worker. He loved raising chickens, hunting, fishing, being outdoors, spending time with his family, and especially loved spending time with his grand babies.

Survivors include his wife, Jana Thompson of the home in Stringtown; daughter, Halee Thompson and significant other Josh Boyd of Calera, OK; son Kayle Ginn and wife, Shelby of Coalgate; mother, Fern Thompson of Stringtown; sibling, Ellen Thompson and signifiant other, Steve Abreo, Stephen Thompson, all of Stringtown, Randy Thompson and wife Shell of Bentley, OK and Jason Thompson and wife Jerica of Coalgate; grandchildren, Zaylee, Zaidny, Zander, and Chloe; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by her father, Audie Horace Thompson, Jr.; grandparents, Velma Mae Thompson, Audie Horace Thompson, Sr., Ernest Erwin and Ellen Erwin.
