Harold Albert Latham, Sr.

Graveside services for Harold Albert Latham, Sr., a Lehigh resident, were held Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Coalgate Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Latham was born December 3, 1946 to Gordon and Ola (Washburn) Latham at Coalgate and passed away June 16, 2023 at Denison, TX at the age of 76 years, 6 months and 13 days. He attended Coalgate High School and owned and operated his own heating and air business, was a licensed mechanical plumber and was a truck driver where he owned and operated his own trucking company. Harold enjoyed driving trucks, watching westerns, and fishing. He liked drinking coffee in little old cafes all over the country.

Survivors include his children, Harold Latham, Jr. of Lehigh, Tina Latham Horn and husband Tim of Lehigh, and Gordon Latham of Centrahoma, OK; grandchildren, Lindsay, Chet, Tiffany, Oscar, Garrett, Jasmine, Gunner, Hope and Faith; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Able, Sadie and Dallas; sisters, Mary Alice Basham and husband Jim of Leonard, TX, Ola Mae Grigg of McAlester, Ok. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Ola (Washburn) Latham; sister, Martha Anne McCarty and husband Billy; and daughter-in-law, Helen Latham.

Casketbearers were Bobby McCarty, Gary Don Stockwell, Robert Stockwell, Chris Bradley, Arnold Adams, Jr., Donald Compton, Chet James Latham, Bud Ray McCarty, and A.J. Horn.
