Robert Stephen (Steve) McEntire

A Memorial service for Robert Stephen “Steve” McEntire, will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Pastor Lyle Shipley officiating. Interment will be in Wardville Cemetery, Wardville, OK. Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate.

Robert Stephen “Steve” McEntire, 83, of Mansfield, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, May 8, 2022. He was born November 1, 1938 in Wardvillle, OK to Bob and Nellie McEntire.

Steve was an Army veteran and retiree from International Paper Company as a forester. He was also Past-President of the Arkansas Forestry Association and was an avid gardener. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, traveling, camping and was of the Baptist faith.

Steve is survived by his wife of 56 years, Vicki McEntire of the home; son, Jeff McEntire (Cycilia Thomas) of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brother, John McEntire of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother-in-law, Mike Baumert of Coalgate; sisters-in-law, Karen Marks of Tishomingo, OK and Cleo McEntire of Wardville, OK; and numerous niece, nephews, cousins and special friends.
