Service was Held for Larry Edward McCorkle

Larry Edward McCorkle, a resident of Marshfield, Missouri passed away April 7, 2023 at the age of 78.  Memorial service was held April 11, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Marshfield, Missouri, with Bishop Richard Shockley officiating.

Larry was born January 20, 1945 to Lawrence and Mary B. (Davis) McCorkle in Romulas, Michigan, the third of eight children. He was raised in California and spent his high school years on Bill and Jane Downard’s Cattle Ranch in Coalgate. He married Cecelia Bryce in 1967 and they were married 55 years. Professionally, Larry retired as a phone installer, but was a jack-of-many trades, including farm handing, landscaping and electrical work. He was a master at barbecuing and loved to play golf. Larry loved his family and never met a stranger.
He helped anyone he could.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Kim Bode (David) and Lisa Jacobson; seven grandchildren, Bryce, Zachary, Parker, Sarah, Riley Tennille, and Tate; two greatgranddaughters, Maya and Lua.
