Service to be Held for Twyla Gaile Lawrence

Twyla Gaile Lawrence passed away March 9, 2023. She was born September 16, 1935 to Hulet Thomas Rice, Sr. and Rebecca Ruth (Hall) Rice. Gaile was the baby of 9 children. She married Perry Joe Hefley in June 1956. Their daughter Cathy was born in 1958. Gaile then married Clayton”Buddy” Lawrence in December 1977. He passed away 5 years later.

Survivors include daughter, Cathy Krebs and husband Larry of Coalgate; grandchildren, Damon Krebs and wifeSierra,CalieBolin and husband Wes, and Joseph Krebs and wife Tiffany, all of Coalgate; greatgrandchildren, Chace and Brant Krebs, Boone Brecheen, Dallas Krebs, Laramie Hatter and Tessa Bolin; eleven stepgrandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Bob Rice and wife Verna of Ada; step-children, Don Lawrence and wife Cheryl, Betty Stanley and husband Jerry, Tammy Henry, all of Coalgate and Debbie Weathers of Cottonwood; father of her daughter, Perry Joe Hefley of Coalgate. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hulet Thomas and Rebecca Ruth (Hall) Rice; husband, Clayton “Buddy” Lawrence; five brothers; two sisters and stepson Allen Lawrence. Quote from daughter Cathy, “Mama was the hardest working person I know. She milked for us for 15 year, took care of her disabled sister Faye and me well into adulthood, longer than I care to admit.
