Sandra Marie (Munguia) Watson

Funeral services for Sandra Marie (Munguia) Watson, a longtime Lehigh resident, were held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 10:00 am. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate with Bro. Sammy Vaughn officiating. Burial was in Lehigh Cemetery with Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate in charge of arrangements. Mrs.Watson was born July 28, 1954 to Jesse Romero ad Marie (Garrard) Munguia at Oklahoma City, OK and passed away February 23, 2023 at Ada, OK at the age of 69 years and 26 days. She attended Lehigh School, was a beautician for many years and also served on the Lehigh City Council. Sandra married James Aaron Watson December 28, 1978 at Coalgate. They enjoyed 27 years together until his passing on September 11, 2005. Sandra was of the Pentecostal faith. She enjoyed embroidery, water coloring and going to the casino. She loved camping, riding horses, eating cornbread and playing Farkle.

Survivors include her children, Dennis Ray Mosley, Jr. and wife Erin of McAlester, Kim Puentes and husband Ernie of Ada, Sabrina M. Scroggins and husband Terry of Coalgate, Jason Watson and Donna Watson of Tupelo, Adam Justin Idell of McAlester, and Dalton Idell and fianc’e Ashley Denton of Coalgate; sisters, Ida Statczar of Oklahoma City, Anna Payne of Tulsa, and Shirley Prater of Ada; brother, Jesse Munguia Jr. and wife Regina of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren, Zachary Mosley, Stefan Cook, Aspen Williams, Holden Puentes, Brae Puentes, Kaleb Puentes, Aaron Dell Hicks and wife Taylor, Jetson D. Scroggins, Abbey Hoover, Brandon Wilson, Alex Mosley, Rilyn Mosley, Noah Lane Reynolds, Asher Grey Reynolds, Kaila Frank and husband Kasey, Jaxon Battles, Brody Watson, Rachel Martin and husband Kyle, and Traci Watson and husband Kent Kerr; great-grandchildren, Kutter Frank and eleven others; four great-greatgrandchildren; special sisters Zelda Spears and Jackie Williams.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Romero and Marie (Garrard) Munguia; husband, James Aaron Watson; sister, Pat Luellen; and granddaughter, Deborah Martin.

Casketbearers were Robert Prater, Roger Prater, Dustin Morgan, Keith Horn, Eddie Luellen, Waylon Dudley, Jason Watson and Jesse Munguia. Honorary bearer was Jared Munguia.
