Sue Lancaster Linam

Graveside services for Diania Sue (Lancaster) Linam , a Coalgate resident, will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at McCarty Cemetery, Coalgate, OK with Bro. Eddie Hogue officiating. Family night will be Thursday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Brown’s Funeral Service of Coalgate is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Linam was born October 9, 1958 to J. R. and Hazel Estella (Lemon) Lancaster at Coalgate and passed away January 22, 2023 at Tulsa, OK at the age of 64 years, 3 months and 13 days. She graduated from Coalgate High School Class of 1976 and was a homemaker. Diania married Roger Doyle Linam September 3, 1996 at the Farmers Insurance Office in Coalgate. They enjoyed 26 years together before his passing on October 27, 2022. Diana was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church. She enjoyed quilting, crafting, painting, reading, telling stories, playing games and tending to her flowers. Diania was a great cook.

Survivors include her daughters, Tonya Hubbard and husband Shane of Cumberland City, TN and Estelle McIntosh of Okmulgee, OK; grandchildren, Jamie Long of Coweta, OK, Jathan Long of Broken Arrow, OK, Autumn Long of Ft. Smith, AR, and Austin Hubbard of Cumberland City, TN; great-grandchild, Randy Long of Coweta, OK; brother, Forrest Lancaster of Coalgate; sister, Phyllis Symonds and husband Jay of Claremore, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dearly loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Doyle Linam; parents, J. R and Hazel Estella (Lemons) Lancaster; and father of her children, Rodney McIntosh.
