Roger Dale Linam

Visitation and viewing for Roger Dale Linam, a Coalgate resident, were held Friday, October 28, 2022 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 29, 2022, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate.

Mr. Linam was born June 8, 1951 to Edgar Lawrence and Allie Marie (Constant) Linam at Woodland, CA and passed away October 27, 2022 at his home in Coalgate at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 19 days. He graduated from Coalgate High School, Class of ‘71 and served in the Navy during the Vietnam War conflict. Roger was an automobile mechanic. He married Diana September 3, 1996 at the Farmers Insurance office in Coalgate officiated by the late Bro. Bill Weathers. Roger was member of the First Baptist Church in Cottonwood. He enjoyed tinkering on motorcycles, boats and anything with a motor and enjoyed helping others.

Survivors include his wife Diana Linam of the home in Coalgate; daughters, Estelle McIntosh and fiance’ Nick Coy of Okmulgee, OK, Tonya Hubbard and husband Shane of Cumberland City, TN; grandchildren, Jamie Long of Broken Arrow, OK, Autumn Long of Fort Smith, AR, Jathon Long of Broken Arrow, OK, Austin Hubbard of Cumberland City, TN; greatgrandson, Randy Long of Broken Arrow, OK; sisters, Louiese Westbrook Dulin of Ada, OK, Dorothy White and husband Author Wayne of Coalgate; brothers, Lonnie Linam and wife Sally of New Castle, OK, Leon Linam and wife Shirley of El Reno, OK, Earnie Linam and wife Janet of Coalgate, and Eddie Don Linam of New Castle, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and dearly loved family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Lawrence and Aliie Marie (Constant) Linam and brother, Dewayne Linam.
