Brian Boyd

Visitation for Artie Brian Boyd, a Tupelo resident, will be held Wednesday (today), August 31, 2022, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Chapel in Coalgate, OK.

Mr. Boyd was born September 8, 1978, to Johnny Gene Gardener and Linda Jean Wade at Little Rock, AR and passed away August 26, 2022, at Coalgate at the age of 43 years, 11 months and 18 days.

Artie attended Cordell High School and was a stocker at Ada Wal-Mart. Brian married Jonie Joleah Rae Bailey February 13, 2010, at Tupelo, OK. He loved sports and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Jonie Boyd of the home in Tupelo, OK; son, Johnathan “JJ” Bailey of the home in Tupelo, OK; brothers, Scott Boyd and wife Erica of Houston, TX and Vincent Boyd of Norman, OK; sister, Nova Savage and husband Sterling of Norman, OK; sisterin- law, Chantell Bailey of Coalgate; niece, Aurora Hunter of Coalgate; father, Rick Boyd and wife Rainee of Newkirk, OK; aunt, Jane Bixler and husband Ken of Tuttle, OK; mother-inlaw, Debbie Pratt Bailey of the home in Tupelo, OK; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dearly loved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Gardner and mother, Linda Wade.
